Chumphon is located in- the North of Southern part of Thailand. Many people have passed Chumphon when they travel to the South but never visited there. Actually Chumphon has many attractions waiting for tourists.
Day 1
We took a bus to Chumphon. First we went to Hat Sai Ri. This scenic and popular beach is about 20 kilometres from Chumphon. It is a large and curved beach and surrounded by mountain. There are some accommodations and restaurants available along the beach. Then we walked to Prince Chumphon Monument, he was respected by everybody who visited Chumphon After that we went to mangrove forest at Mu Ko Chumphon National Park. These areas have many kinds of plants and animals. If you come early in the morning, you can see sunrise. And there are fishing boat on the sea. When the sunshine to the water, it was very beautiful.
Day 2
The second day of traveling to chumphon, we got up early I because we had program to snorkeling. There are many diving sites
on Gulf of Thailand in Chumphon such as Koh Ngam, Koh Lak Ngam, Koh Talu and Koh Mattra Etc. There are many colorful coral and fish. Underwater world is very charm. After going back from the sea, we had a big meal because we are very tired from snorkeling.
Day 3
Last day we went to Suratthani to visit Klong Roi Sai, it is in Tapi River. There are hundreds of canal here. We could see simple local life. People travel by long tail boat and see the nature by the canal. Before going back, we went to pay respect to Luang Por Kao Suk, the Buddha Image that made of rice from monk’s alms bowl. Everybody who joined this trip are impressed Chumphon Sea. Although it is not famous as Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Nang Yuan in Suratthani or Andaman Sea, it is also wonderful place.
