Are you coming to Nashville for business or on vacation and are looking for things to do? Are you planning to do some adult things, but want to supplement that with some kids things? Beyond the famous stuff are some hidden gems you’ll certainly want to visit.

Weekend Guide In Thailand

First of all take in Pie in the Sky Pizza on Vanderbilt’s campus or in Franklin (just outside Nashville). There’s a window around the kitchen at this restaurant where the kids can watch the pizza being made. Plus your waiter will bring a ball of dough out to your kids to play with until the pizza arrives. For a pizza place, it’s about the most fun kid restaurant in Nashville (unless you include Chuck E Cheese’s).

Opry Mills Mall might sound like a chore, but if you enter near the Gibson Guitar store, you’ll be really close to the manta ray place. Connected to the Aquarium restaurant, the manta ray place has a huge pool inside with real manta rays swimming around. For or so, the kids can feed the manta rays, pet them and play some fun games. And speaking of Chuck E Cheese’s, right down the hall is Dave & Buster’s which used to be for adults, but now is for everybody. It has video games, a complete bowling alley, pizza and lots of fun.

Finally if you head east on I-40 and get off at the Stewart’s Ferry Pike exit you’ll come to the beach at Percy Priest Lake. It’s not the kind of beach with sand, surf and water toys – but kids love it. It’s actually the back side of the dam where huge rocks were piled up next to them dam that kids love climbing on. Also, the beach is more like gravel so there are tons of rocks to throw in the water. The area has lots of picnic tables and parking to make it a fun outdoor stop while you’re in Nashville.
